May 3rd Chapter Meeting

Hello AORN of Orange County 0510 Members:

 

Join us at our Chapter Meeting this Saturday, May 3 0845-1100. 

The meeting is held LIVE which includes a light breakfast, or VIRTUALLY via the TEAMS Meeting appointment below. The informative 1st hour will include a short presentation from Cathy DeGuzman on her medical mission, a recap of the Spring Seminar and AORN Expo, the upcoming luncheon for the installation of the 2025-2026 Chapter leadership, California Alliance for Perioperative Practice (CAPP) State Council's first seminar, community service projects, and other business plans.  

Please remember to vote for our Chapter Leaders.  The ballot is in the attached newsletter.  Please remit to Sally Stredler by May 1st at stredler1@gmail.com  or bring the ballot to the meeting on Saturday.  We have a very FULL agenda and you won't want to miss anything so please be on time. 

Following the business meeting, we are pleased to have Patty Barnett Mouton, MSGc, Vice President of Outreach & Advocacy at Alzheimer's Orange County, as she presents a free 1-hour CE presentation titled "Comforting the Confused".  This not for profit agency, has been providing memory support services to patients, clinicians, and caregivers for over 40 years in Orange County.  Come listen to Ms. Mouton as she describes the beautiful and compassionate care that is provided for those touched by this diagnosis.  RSVP is not required.  

The meeting will be held at St. Joseph Hospital, Zoul Auditorium, Basement level.  Parking is $9.
